When people ask who is the Amber behind Amber's Teen Reads, they probably do what most of the population does and think "a blonde." Well guess what? WRONG!
I'm so not a blonde! I am actually called Amberdenise by some people and I kind of like it better, but for the blog, I figured it might be a bit too long. As you can probably tell, I love to read YA novels. Interestingly enough, even though I look like I'm still really young, I graduated from College in 2005 with a degree in History and my minor in Political Science-- so doesn't really have a THING to do with my job. Oh well, I am doing what I love and that's really all that matters.
When I am not at work, I like to relax with my friends, curl up in a chair reading a great book, blog or go to the beach.
I am super blessed to live near the Atlantic Ocean so I get to see it when I want to. I may not go as often as the next Florida girl, but I love knowing that I can.
As for the books I read, I typically read Contemporary fiction. I love a story where something can happen in real life. I will read other genres, but not nearly as often and they aren't usually as enjoyable for me.
